FTP
ftp (file transfer protocol) is a utility to moving
files from one machine to another.
ftp <remotehost>
begins an ftp session on remote machine remotehost. You will be prompted for
a password. Once in ftp, you can enter the following commands:

- dir <filename>
- lists files in the current directory
-
- cd <directoryname>
- changes default directory
-
- get, put <filename>
- copies a file from one machine to the other. (mget, mput, move multiple
file)
-
- quit
- leaves ftp and returns to local host
